Hornby Class 06

This locomotive is special to me. I received it when I was in the Hornby Collectors Club as a boy, and it was my favourite. It became my test loco for my ‘IngleSnook’ layout, and I happily took it along to a club night at the LWMRS to show what I had made after working in the points. It was at this point I found out from my friend Phil that my locomotive had never existed, and was a fictional livery on a strange version of a 06 by Hornby. What a bombshell! In reality, I didn’t care at all - it still runs pretty well and the sentimental value is definitely strong for me.
