This was another childhood locomotive. My mum bought him for me from the precursor of Tony’s Trains of Rugby - Barby Model Rail. It’s ridiculously oversized, needs a service and is obscenely jerky and fast. However, I don’t know why but I love the way it looks. Something about the model really scratches an itch in my brain. I wish I had Ben too. I believe Rapido make a great model of this class now, and Bachmann have created their own models of Bill and Ben. Hmm…
